Debenhams CEO to replace current chairman

The Financial Times reported that the UK land and online gambling group Gala Coral is appointing a new non-executive Chairman, Robert Templeman, who currently acts as a CEO of the London retail store Debenhams.

An official statement about Templeman’s replacement of the outgoing non-executive chairman Neil Goulden is expected later this week.

After its previous CEO Dominic Harrison suddenly left earlier this year, Gala Coral is still searching for his replacement. Since Harrison departed, Goulden, who used to be a chief executive of Gala Coral from 2004 to 2008, has been acting as interim chief executive. After Templeman takes over, Goulden will probably remain as a consultant in the group.
