National gaming operator of Finland, Raha-Automaattiyhdistys has (RAY), has launched Playtech’s live dealer services presented from its very own studio within its Espoo headquarters.
The incorporation of the new product extends the company’s relationship with Playtech. Live dealer games will include Blackjack and Roulette available on the web with a mobile version to follow.
“We are thrilled with the new product which is not only the best in class and the most advanced, but also the most flexible and comprehensive which allowed us to have purposefully taken a friendlier and fresher approach to live dealer,” said Timo Kiiskinen, senior VP business operations at RAY.
“The studio looks fantastic, the technology is the best in the industry and the presenters are ready to meet our customers who, from extensive rounds of focus groups, have really taken to the new look we have adopted”, he added.
Shay Segev, COO, Playtech, said, “RAY is a longstanding Playtech partner and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with them on this project, particularly the new, innovative approach they have taken to live casino."

Something to bear in mind with Playtech 'Unlimited Blackjack' - because multiple players play the same hand and you have no idea how many other people are (or are not) included in each hand, it is POSSIBLE for the deck to be stacked in such a way as to guarantee the house an unfair advantage. Not saying this definitely does happen, but many think that Live Dealer games are much safer than RNG based, and in the case of this particular Blackjack, it is CONCEIVABLE that it is infact, just as open to abuse.
