That's the question South African betting firms were asked themselves this week after a news item appeared in Business Report announcing the start of online gambling operations in South Africa by the bookie on April 28th.

According to government officials quoted in television documentaries recently, online betting remains illegal, although the government is moving ponderously toward legalisation.
