Kansspelautoriteit, the Dutch online gambling regulator and Malta's Lotteries and Gaming Authority, signed a collaboration pact, amidst the introduction of regulated online gambling in Netherlands scheduled for next year.
Maria Appelman, the chief Dutch regulator, said that this collaboration is very important since it contributes to the development and sharing between similar bodies.
The very content chief executive of the Malta regulator, Joseph Cuschieri, said that both parties recognizes "...mutual principles in the regulation of remote gambling and will help both jurisdictions to ensure utmost consumer protection and a just, responsible and safe provision of gambling services applied through a strong and inclusive systems and monitoring."
In order to improve supervisory and administrative corporation by sharing their methods and knowledge, European online gambling regulators from various national jurisdictions have been meeting and discussing matters of common interest in a past few years.

Looks like a good choice to me. I wish that the US could have such an epiphany, to enter into this field of entertainment guided by something other than the greed of their wealthiest citizens.
