The Bulgarian State Commission on Gambling has added 32Red and Stan James its blacklist for accessing punters in the Bulgarian market without local licensing.
These recent additions bring the blacklist total to 313 websites.
There was little operator interest in Bulgarian licensing and regulation up until the end of 2013 due to the fees and 15 percent tax on turnover associated with it; however in 2014, the political establishment made changes including a 20 percent tax on gross profits, which has resulted in more operator licensing applications.
In similar news, the Latvian Lotteries and Gambling Supervision Inspection (IAUI) has also added to its blacklist including site such 24hbet.com, Igame.com, Redluck.com, Titanbet.com and Twist Casino.
The most recent 11 domains to join the Latvian blacklist include Playbet.com, Allbritishcasino.com and Freespincasino.com.

Interesting article. The Bulgarian Gambling Commission has been quite busy siting three hundred thirteen websites. It looks like these Casinos on the blacklist are popular or at least well know enough for most players to recognize their name. Not some mom & pop sites or newly started, low budget casinos. I see that it's like everything else, like a phrase I heard on TV the other day. "It's all about the benjamins." I read that Bulgaria passed online gambling legislation last year. Starting March 2015, I think, internet service providers to IP block unlicensed sites. The fee they have to pay upfront for licensing is unreal, something like almost half million dollars. And they have another problem with licensing, even if they come up with this ungodly amount, their gambling regulations haven’t been implemented. That's right, it was passed last year but not yet implemented. So these blacklisted sites have no proper avenue to apply for legal licensing. And they say the US is screwed up.
