This week Bodog Canada informed interested parties that, with an aim to expand “its horizons” internationally, will redirect its customers to the .eu domain, but that its current regionalized domain will remain in place.
Also, targeting the Asian market, the company stated it will soon add Asian-oriented products to its offering, including a live dealer casino offering Baccarat, Sic Bo and Dragon Tiger.
According to Peter Margison, managing director of Bodog Canada, “The internet allows us to explore and appeal to other markets even with our bespoke Canadian look and feel. In certain areas, like [ice] hockey, our product offers far more than most in a sport that, while relatively niche, still has a global following. It makes sense to spread the word beyond Canada and we believe moving to a more international domain will help us achieve that extra reach.”
