Bitcoin users are not pleased with new Bitcoin XT version, which was created by Mike Hearn and recommended by the currency's chief scientist, Gavin Andresen, but Andersen says that users are beginning to accept the idea as 10 percent of the network have recently accepted the new product.
There are concerns that changing the software could split the virtual currency despite Hearn’s reassurance that its adoption is a must to ensure that bitcoins can accommodate the growing demand.
The BBC reported that many Chinese bitcoin miners have refused XT as it may affect control over the currency.
"We've gone from zero people running the software to 10 percent of the network in 72 hours, which is really good," Hearn said.
If you look at the guys working on the Bitcoin core, they talk about consensus all the time - but if you ask them what they really mean, they can't tell you.

I am confused on what the XT version is. I am a strictly Bitcoin player and have been for the last year. I would never go back to the non-bitcoin casinos. I'm not very familiar with the new Bitcoin XT version but like every new thing there is doubts in its efficiency. I guess the Bitcoin users with more experience have their well-founded doubts but I think we have to wait some time and see how it's going to be. I think this version has a future.

I haven't changed over to Bitcoin yet. I think about it all the time. I know that it would give me a larger group of games to play, not just RTG software, but I don't know where to start to even begin to by Bitcoin. Now it looks like there are these new changes in this story. I guess I'll just wait awhile longer.
